First, to the discussion about racism in VA, I have lived in VA on and off for 50 years, and I have never witnessed overt racism except for a few rednecks, who are also anti-Catholic, anti-Jewish, anti-Orientals, anti everything except themselves.

Everybody has vehement opinions without benefit of any of the issues involved. Duh. One thing is clear: in the face of a labor dispute, for the company to significantly raise executive compensation is just plain stupid, or blindly arrogant, or both.

Danno, there is an alternative to sucking up to foreigners for oil. That alternative is for our government to get out of the way to allow the development of domestic oil. Alternative and renewable energy may become cost-effective some day, but the science just isn't here yet.

I thought Huntsman and Gingrich looked most presidential tonight. I like what Romney has to say, but he is so bland. Others would disagree.
