  • Everybody has vehement opinions without benefit of any of the issues involved. Duh. One thing is clear: in the face of a labor dispute, for the company to significantly raise executive compensation is just plain stupid, or blindly arrogant, or both.

  • Danno, there is an alternative to sucking up to foreigners  for oil. That alternative is for our government to get out of the way to allow the development of domestic oil. Alternative and renewable energy may become cost-effective some day, but the science just isn't here yet.
